Class 11

Welcome to class 11! I am Mr Rae and I teach year 6 at Upperwood Academy. Our teaching assistants in class are Mrs Zbik and Mrs Allsop.

Class Information

Our topic this half term is Biomes. We are learning about the 6 major biomes of the world and where they are located. We will also be looking at Islam in R.E and classification in Science.

Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday (alternate weeks) and Thursday. Please ensure you bring your P.E kit and some sports trainers to school on these days.

Spelling test days are on Fridays. We will compete in the school spelling battle, so remember to practise your spellings. To support learning at home, we encourage children to practise their spellings, read daily and practise their times tables.
