Class 4

Hi everyone and welcome to Class 4’s website page.

Here is some information for you regarding what’s happening at the moment in Class 4.

Your class teacher is Mrs Hirst and your teaching assistant is Miss Tutill.

Our topics for this half term are Plants in Science, Printing in Art, The UK and landmarks in Geography, Hinduism in RE, families and relationships in PSHE

We have daily phonics, Literacy and Maths lessons with opportunities to learn handwriting and spelling skills too!

Our PE days currently are Monday and Thursday. Please ensure your child has a change of shoes. They do not need to bring a PE kit at the moment.

Our Spelling Shed test will take place on Friday. New spellings will go home on a Thursday too. (Spelling Shed spellings will be updated each week).

Your child should bring their book pack every day. Books will be changed Monday, Wednesday and Friday ( at least twice a week). Please encourage your child to read and sign the reading log.

Homework will be posted on SEESAW each week. If you require homework in an alternative format, please contact school.

If your child is unable to attend school due to the Covid regulations, Mrs Hirst will post home learning on SEESAW.

We are all trying really hard to make sure our hygiene is good and we are using the best social distancing we can. Please support us with this by reminding your child about how to keep safe.

Thank you

Mrs Hirst
